Media World Podcast: News Publishers' Association, Andrew Holden And The NZ Media

In Part One, The NZR interviews NPA's Andrew Holden on Big Tech's impact on the New Zealand media, AI, government intervention, Australia's tax or play ball approach and NZ media's future.

Does New Zealand’s media need to adapt to the information world we find ourselves to survive? Does the government need to intervene? What benefits and risks does AI pose to you, the media and New Zealand’s fledgling democracy?

In this podcast, The NZR speaks to Andrew Holden, the Public Affairs Director of the News Publishers’ Association, which represents Stuff, NZME and other publishing houses.

Previously this series was called Media Watch. Part 2 will be paywalled.
