Mauger Jokes Off Misstep With Hoonhay Community Association

The New Zealand Reporter is a subscriber-based news platform and member of The New Zealand Media Council.

At Tuesday afternoon’s third mayoral forum, city mayor Phil Mauger joked off suggestions he had broken a promise made to the Hoonhay Community Association.

In July, at the second forum, the Hoonhay Community Association told an audience of community associations and deputy mayor Pauline Cotter the council had stopped mowing the lawns on council land where the HCC was tenant.
