The NZR - Moving With The Digital Times
Editor's Note: The NZR has expanded into a multimedia platform featuring video, audio and written news combos that will feature on Tik Tok and YouTube, as well as its usual slots elsewhere.
Dear valued NZR subscribers,
The NZR has expanded into a multimedia platform featuring video, audio and written news combos that will feature on Tik Tok and YouTube, as well as its usual slots on Reddit, Discord, Facebook, Linked In and Instagram.
As you can see in this photo, people are engaging with the world with different sensors, be it visual or audible, and through different avenues.
The NZR needs to adapt to this imperfect, unpredictable world in new ways by publishing articles that lead with video, audio or written copy to suit what you are doing and where you are doing it.
So, for instance, if you are driving home from work or exercising and you’d like to listen to an NZR podcast, they can be downloaded and heard from the comfort of your car through your mobile device.
The NZR is also using AI technology to produce short-form videos and will also publish short-form audio clips that will give you a snapshot of what an article is about. For some people, short-form content might be the right fit for them in their current lifestyle.
These developments are part of The NZR’s evolution. I hope you will welcome them. And as time progresses, I hope the quality of the news and its formatting will also improve.
