Saturday Protest Surge, As Palestine Flags Fly From Bridge of Remembrance

One of the largest Pro-Palestine protests for several months carved its way through the heart of the city. Watch the film.

The IPC has estimated that as of last Friday, 1 million Gazans will be gripped with catastrophic food scarcity in northern Gaza and two locations in the southern part of the strip. It also expected a further 38 percent of the population likewise to be impacted by emergency conditions.

Police standing in the vicinity said people were entitled to protest and said they would not intervene, as the bridge was council-owned.

This grim prediction came as one of the largest Pro-Palestine protests for several months carved its way along Lichfield Street and turned into Colombo Street during a busy Saturday afternoon in the heart of the city. Watch the film below.
