Park Terrace Cycleways: Council Votes to Keep It

By a small majority, a clearly polarised council voted down a motion to end the temporary 2-way cycleway installed on Park Terrace. This means the pilot will stay in place for 5 years while construction work goes on at Canterbury Museum, and mayor Mauger and councillor James Gough’s endeavour to have it ripped up has been torpedoed.
