Palestinian Solidarity National Alliance National Chair John Minto has dismissed concerns raised about damage done to The Bridge of Remembrance.

The PSNA has run protests in Hagley Park, Westfield Mall and in the vicinity of this city war memorial.

Previously, the NZR and predecessor The Wigram have reported on Pro-Palestine and Anti-Israel vandalism on the stone memorial and the council’s decision to wrap part of it in plastic as a protective measure.

NZR asked Minto whether the PSNA takes responsibility for the damage and what action it will take to rectify said situation.

In a dismissive tone, Minto responded:
